I just switched from LT 2014 to LT 2015 and there is a change in Autostack I cannot seem to fix. In LT 2014 I would type the following
L31/2x31/2x1/4x11'-31/2" and the 1/2 & 1/4 would stack and also delete the space between the numbers.
Now with LT2015, I type the same way and end with this L3 1/2x3 1/2x1/4x11'-31/2" and the only fraction that stacks is the 1/2 on the end.
and I have to use Text Formating to highlight the fraction, right click the mouse button, then choose stack.
Does anyone have a fix?
Joe

This is a known bug:
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2013-2014-2015/Autostack-Bug-2015/m-p/5008212/highlight/true#M...
Report it via subscription or on the Autodesk "Contact Us" page:

The more people that report the problem, the more likely Autodesk will issue a fix.
Hi kentr8,
That can be done, but is not the way structural steel angles are shown. I can sack the fractions, and delete the spaces but that is like going backwards or back to pencils and t squares:)
Hi Joe,
I'm able to reproduce this behavior, but at this time I can only suggest the workaround that you have found: highlight the fraction, right-click and choose Stack (or click the Stack icon on the Formatting ribbon panel).
In the 2015 release some changes were made to auto-stacking, and the program is looking for a space to be entered right after the "bottom" number, in order to stack and remove the leading blank. Seeing the X entered after is blocking it from auto-stacking.
I appreciate that this will require extra clicks, and is not a final solution. However, we are aware of the issue, and hopefully this will get you by until it can be fully resolved.
This is a major issue and my Detailers will not upgrade to the latest versions (2015 or 2016) of Autocad because of this. Well I guess we dont need that subscription license anymore........
