Attribute Linking

I'm pretty sure this doesn't exist, but does anyone know if there is a command that will automatically link two attributes together when copying? (i.e. I have a balloon with the number 3 in it. I copy it with an option to link the copy to the original with out having to manually put in the fields)....Idea for 2014.

Not certain what you're asking... but have you tried using actual fields in your attribute?
