As you have discovered, there is no window selection with NCOPY command, you have to pick each item individually.

Perhaps, although the nesting seems to present some special challenges
Have you considered just opening the block/xref to copy the objects, rather than picking one-at-a-time with NCOPY?
There are several ways to open the Block Editor;
- On the Ribbon Home tab, click "edit" on the Block Panel
- Double-Click the block (doesn't work if the block has attributes)
- Type BEDIT at the Command line
Once inside the Block editor, select all the obects you want to copy and use CopyClip (CTRL+C) or Right-Click Copy to copy the objects to the Clipboard. Close the Block editor (without saving), then paste the Clipboard contents into your drawing.
If you need to copy most of the objects within the block, it may just be easier to copy it to a blank area in the drawing, and explode it.
I find it easier to refedit a block that I neeed some parts from. How, you ask?
refedit the block, copy the objects that you want to another place ... just enough to separate it from the original block, then remove it from the refedit set (with the little minus icon) and then close the refedit without saving. Works like a charm and it's all right there.
