2D polyline

Hi

Is there a way to edit vertices of a 2D polyline so that height of vertices be specified?

2D and "height" are not a match: do you need to use 3DPOLY command instead?

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

I meant if I have a 2D polyline. How can I edit vertices to specify height to change it to 3d Polyline.

You'll need to convert it to a 3D polyline if you want a different elevation on each vertex. See: http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/how-to-convert-2d-polyline-to-3d-polyline-tip7266

If you just want to assign a single elevation to the entire 2D polyline, use Properties.

Hi

Thank you very much. This LISP is usefull. Why it isn't included in AutoCAD as a command?

You could ask that question about many, many things that could be part of the application. The answer is "I don't know".

BTW: this command is included in Civil 3D

It is a command in Civil 3D, but not vanilla AutoCAD.
