The “intersection osnap” between a “hatched rectangle” and a “DASHDOT2”

The AutoCAD doesn’t show the “intersect osnap” at certain zoom!

I’m not sure about this behavior

The “intersection osnap” between a “hatched rectangle” and a “DASHDOT2” line appears and disappears depending on the amount of zoom!

As I zoom out the “intersection osnap” appears but when I zoom in, it disappears

Is there any explanation for this behavior?

Why the "intersection Osnap" should disappear as I zoom in?

    Thank you

    Regards

    Jamal

If the displayed portion of both dashed lines are not both within the aperture, then the running Intersect Osnap will not find the intersection.    That's just the way it is.  You can zoom out, regenerate the drawing and perhaps the lines will cross where they're both displayed, or you can manually specify the Intersect Osnap (or the Apparent Intersect OSnap) and then pick each line separately.  I typically use the last option, using Shift+Right Click to access the OSnap menu

    What's an Aperture?
