I am tired of re-creating Description Keys everytime I want to bring in Survey Points into a drawing. I have tried to drag and drop, but that does not seem to work for me. I can's copy it. Is there a way to get Civil 3D 2010 Decription Keys into Civil 3D 2012. Any advice.
Thanks
Utana

Hi Utana,
Sure it is way, just open one of your drawings that has your DescKey Set on it in Civil 3D 2010, make sure that you delete all the information on it and PURGE the drawing, do a save as just in case, so you don’t damage or over right something.
Now open your Civil 3D 2012 and insert the drawing that you just created and clean in 2010 using the INSERT command.
This will bring any styles and also the Description Key set to your drawing in 2012 that you can save as a template or work on it.
Please take a look to this short video that illustrates what I am saying.

Hope this will help.
