In mechanical desktop there was a flip normal, and a show/hide normal command.

The problem I am having is when trying to use the thicken command some surfaced thicken one way and some thicken the wrong way.   showing the normals allows you to prevent this from happening.

Am I missing where these commands are?  Or do they not exist in the 2012 surfaceing toolbox?
