saving takes long time

i am using autocad 2012 and installed vba enabler, after then when i want to save anything, it is taking so long time, i dont know what is the problem , can you help me? thanks.

First thing I would check is Options > Open and Save tab.

Look in the upper left under Save Version as.

Make sure that Maintain Visual Fidelity is turned off.

When that is turned on and you have annotative objects, it will take a long time to save.

Is it slow because you have a running VBA project?

Or it's slow if you start AutoCAD, load NO vba projects, ansd simply save?

 

VBAUNLOAD command, or VBAMAN command, unload all running projects, does the QSAVE speed go back to original speed?
