polyline direction in xrefs

My question relates to polylines within xrefs. We use linestyles to describe electric, telephone, TV for example ----E-----, -----T------, so on and so forth. We also use xreferences ALL the time. The problem comes in when we have multiple plan view sheets at various UCS orientations. So on one sheet the T, E or TV in the linestyle is right side up, the next sheet they may be upside down. Is there ANY possible way to make these polylines smarter to know what orientation they are in for each sheet? I am using Autocad 2010 with Carlson 2012. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the Reverse option in the PEDIT command?
