.ctb file locations

I am having problems with the location of .ctb files in different drawings.  I can open one drawing for printing and it show a list of .ctb files, then when I open a seperate drawing it shows a completly different list of .ctb files.  Is it just a matter of setting the options settings correctly so they all read to the same place?  Why would there be multiple locations of files?

Look at the Pstylemode variable which is by drawing and one dwg may be using cbt and another may be using stb styles.

to add to Murphs comment, you can use the CONVERTPSTYLES command to flip a drawing from looking for .stb files to a drawing that will look for .ctb files.
