copy objects from autocad 2012 to autocad land dektop 2009.

I can't copy objects fron autocad 2012 to autocad land desktop 2009.

When i choose paste , it pastes the objects as print screen, objects into the screen. As youcan see to photo.

From 2009 to 2012 there is no problem.

Please help me.

WBLOCK between the two (you'll need to open that file and save it down if you do it from 2012). Or SAVEAS and change format in 2012.

You cannot do what you are trying: by design. 2012 is a different format DWG engine.

Hi,

welcome @forums.autodesk.com!

WBLOCK can directly save to DWG2007-format 😉

So no need to reopen the wblocked file and save it back.

You cannot copy/paste between 2012 and 2009, even Plines.
May I ask why you don't simply save the entire file down to 2007 format then open all your files in 2009 and copy/paste between them all day long?

You may have to use AECTOACAD command in 2012 to knock the file down to R2000 format if your 2012 file contains any AEC objects.

Hi,

>> It happens and with a simple polyline not only with wblock.

WBLOCK is not an object, it's a command that saves some objects from your current DWG file into a new DWG file.

Start command _WBLOCK (in AutoCAD 2012) select the objects you want to get into an older AutoCAD version and save that file (in DWG2007-format).

Then start your old AutoCAD release, open this drawing to continue your work ... or insert this drawing into another DWG.
