Wipeout Command Fails in Microsoft Word 2007 Embedded AutoCAD object

I am embedding AutoCAD drawings in a Microsoft Word 2007 Document.  However, the wipeout command fails when the drawing is embedded in the word document.  In other words, geometry hidden by the wipeout command in AutoCAD is not hidden in the figure in Word.  Is this a known issue?  If so, is there a solution?  I need the figures to display properly, while maintaining the ability for another user to open the drawing from the figure.

no fix AFAIK, draworders get messed up that way.
