The N E S W icon in upper right hand corner

Autocad 12 has a North,Easwt,South,West icon in the upper right hand corner, does anyone know how to suppress that icon. Thanks

You can also go to the "View" tab at the top ot the screen.

Near the right-end is "User Interface".

Click on the down-arrow and select "Navigation Bar".

OR:

You can click on the "X" at the upper-right of the Navigation Bar itself.

AutoCAD always has several ways to to do the same thing.
