Text size problems

Hi Guys,

One of our electricians has recently had his computer upgraded from AutoCAD 2004 to 2010.

When he opens files created in 2004 the text is bigger. According to the properties the style is still the same and the text height has not changed. Not sure what to do here as the only soluction we have been able to find so far is to go through manually and resize all text.

Thanks

Hi,

can you upload one of the drawings with such an issure?

BTW: do all drawings show this problem, or just some?

Oh, moment: When you open one of this drawings: look to the command line if it reports that some font is not found and a replacement is used then.

It was replacing the font with simplex.  Just had to copy the font from his old computer, now works a treat.

Many thanks
