System printer not visible in AutoCAD

AutoCAD 2011, Win 7 Prof x64

From one day to another - the plot-command displays only PC3 printers, no system printers.

- Option "Disable system printers" is checked and not active

- AutoCAD was restarted

- PC was rebooted

- System printers are displayed and OK in Windows printer settings

- System printers are displayed and OK e.g. in MS Word

- Printers are OK when using the existing PC3

-> but (see above): Autocad displays only PC3, no system printers

Any ideas?

Regards

Peter

In OPTIONS on the Plot and Publish tab there is a box that says Hide system printers. Make sure that box is not checked.

Your post seems like the box is checked.

Sorry - my wording was not OK. I "checked" (tested, controled) the option and the printers are not hidden.

Hi,

my typical question then is: login as another user, start AutoCAD, start _PLOT command and look if the system-printers are also missing.

Another question (less hope, but who knows) don't you see the systemprinters listed in both dialogs ==> _PLOT and _PAGESETUP?

Hi thanks for the hints. I will check it when the PC is connected to the network again. Today the PC was "local" - and everything was fine ...( weird ..) Yes, both _PLOT and _PAGESETUP had this problem. Peter
