SDI - undocumented / obsolete / testing / special case

Undocumented Command or System Variable

This command or system variable is not documented in the Help system for one of several reasons, including
•It is obsolete, but included in the product to maintain legacy script compatibility
•It was included for testing purposes and has limited or no functionality
•It is a special case of a similar, documented command and is used in the menu or the ribbon only

Use Search to find additional information about the feature in which you are interested, and the documented commands and system variables associated with it.

This is the help of the SDI command with AcadE 2012.

Do you get some info about SDI if you start the SDI command and push F1 ?

I am Testing if the command is Obsolete or in this Special Case Undocumented...Cat Tongue

No it works fine.

You are in the generic/vanilla AutoCAD forum.  AutoCAD Electrical, while based on AutoCAD, can and most likely does overrided or removed commands and settings to fit its specific work processes.

If you can type SDI and set it in your version of AutoCAD it's not obsolete since it is right there to use.

Are you trying to do something specific?

Command has always worked and still does: command has never been well documented and still isn't.

So if I may ask again: are you trying to do soemthing specific? Or simply help document undocumented commands for your colleagues?

- command has never been well documented and still isn't

OK

To make a short story long - it still is not.
Thanks
