I need to rotate the World UCS to default to the left instead of up for a client. Can this be done. If so how?

Thank you - Byron

Use Dview Twist.

DVIEW command, TWist option will change the display of the WUCS.  Alternatively you could define a new UCS and rotate it

UCS <enter>  Z <enter> 90  <enter

You can't rotate the world, or even the World UCS.  You can either change the display, using DVIEW Twist, or create a new UCS to work in.  The world is the world.

OK, you could change the rotation the world, but would take an impactor the size of Mars to hit us again.  When that happens, I want to be _out of here_!

Rotating everything in the drawing 90degrees to the right has the same affect as rotating the WCS 90degrees to the left.

1st rule of good CADD work - NEVER rotate the drawing!!!  Use DVIEW Twist or create the user UCS you want. Being in the Civil Engineering world, once you rotate a drawing then it becomes more difficult to use with other base map drawings.

I believe whether rotating the model is a viable solution depends on the type of model and whether the model was created in the proper orientation relative to the WCS to begin with.
