ROTATE VIEW IN MODEL SPACE FOR AUTOCAD 2010

It's this possible in AutoCAD 2010?

I've been working with AutoCAD 2013 and this is possible from the gizmo. I would like to do it in AutoCAD 2010.

Does anyone can help me?

Thanks,

Are you referring to the UCS icon?  If so, that's actually moving/rotating the UCS, and you can accomplish the same (albeit a different proceedure) from Ribbon > View > Coodinates,  the UCS Toolbar, or by typing "UCS" at the command line.  If you're "rotating" in 2D, then the "Z" option is most likely what you want.

If you actually need to rotate the view without changing the UCS,  you can use the ViewCube, or DView > TWist from the Command line

Hi,

The "gizmo" I think is viewcube, and with 2010 you can only activate the viewcube when you have a 3D visual style active (e.g. 3D-wireframe).

If you switch the visual style and you don't see the viewcube then check within options ==> 3D-modeling if it's checked to be shown.

I'm working in 2D; what I need is rotate the model space in order to work any single drawing elevation in a room having my plan view in the center. I shouldn't use the command rotate because I would messed up the dimensions and others like texts or locked layers, etc.

Thanks,

... also, if  UCSFOLLOW = 1, PLAN will generate automatically whenever the UCS changes.
