Quantify in CAD

Hello all,

I often get given pdf's and dwg's and am asked to quanify areas (for tiles) and lengths of wall (for dado etc)

Currentley I draw or redraw the area depending if its a pdf or dwg and work it out from the properties.

Does anyone know a plugin or piece of software that can speed this process up and automaticaly adjust a value if i adjusted the polyline?

Area or Length will update in .dwg if you use FIELD command and select Object.

I recommend you also look into Blocks with Attributes.
