Many thanks for your help so far.
I'm getting there! i followed your instructions and the properties info box has appeared back on the screen but it spans across both screens and i cannot seem to alter the size either on the screen or through the cui i have taken a screen shot of what it looks like now.
The grey box across the top on the left hand side is how it appears this also spans across the top of the screen on the right as well. if I go to move it it dissapears again!
Any Ideas please?
Thanks again for your help (and patients!) so far
I'm not sure I understand 100% what's going on here, but from your screenshot, it looks like your cui window is 'maximized'. Click the 'Restore Down' button, immediately to the left of the red 'X' Close button in the upper right corner of the cui window. That should make the window sizable again.
Ok, that's just weird, I don't even know what I'm looking at. Your desktop seems to end 2/3 of the way across the screen. What's the black area behind the CUI window, is it your second monitor with a black desktop?
What happens if you switch to a different workspace?
Appologies for not explaining very well!.
Hopefuly this might explain better, I've taken a screen shot of my office computer on the left hand screen you can see my model space (black screen) with a drawing open on it. On the right hand screen is a white background (just an open email to give me a clear background) on it are the different Palletts? that i use for drawing. What i am missing on my computer at home is the properties box that is in the bottom right hand side. I also have the properties pallette open mid screen and the properties box that is in the right hand corner is what opens when you click on the arrow in the bottom right corner of the properties pallette.
I have checked the cui settings on my office comp and they are the same as my home comp.
I hope this explains better what i've been trying to say! lol
Many thanks again.
