Problems with Quick Access Toolbar in AutoCAD 2012

I have AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 and Inventor 2012 installed on both a desktop and laptop under Windows 7 64bit. I am having trouble with the Quick Access Toolbar and the AutoCAD Online Toolbar (top right side). Both areas seem "corrupted" on my desktop only (not laptop). I have an ATI HD 4850 video card, and I have the Control Center program installed. I've turned Aero off, and I've reviewed other forums to look for a "Morphological Filtering" setting under the ATI Catalyst Control Center 2013.0429 (latest), but can't find such a setting. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the entire AutoCAD Product Design Suite trying to solve this problem.

What if you maximize the AutoCAD program window? Doesn't appear to be.

has no effect. I shrunk it so I could show both the Quick Access Toolbar and the Online Toolbar. It also seems to be affecting the Pallettes as well.
