Printing an exported PDF underlay

I am using a PDF underlay in AutoCad 12 - I added things to the drawing and saved. It prints fine when I use AutoCad, but after I export to PDF to send to my client, it only prints and displays the new items I added, not the underlay.

Help...

Hi,

>> but after I export to PDF

Don't use command _EXPORTPDF,try instead command _PLOT and select "DWG to PDF" as plotter.

Just tried that and it still only displays and prints the AutoCAD portion,
not the underlay.

The PDF underlay is a drawing entity just like an image or XREF, so ensure its not on Layer 0, Defpoints, or a layer that is set to not plot.  You may also want to check plot settings as I'm uncertain how PDF behaves with any of the 3D visual styles.
