When you create a New Folder within AutoCad 2012, it isn't automatically highlighted to rename. Is there a fix for this?

Is 2012 updated and patched?

Does it do the same in Windows Explorer?

Yes, 2012 is updated & patched.

No, explorer doesn't have the same problem.

My version of 2012 LT does the same thing.  I've got stranded New folder folders all over to prove it.  :smileyfrustrated:

I've just resorted to making sure something is set up already before doing any Save As (Alt+5) ops.

Sadly, I can do it in both R2012 and LT2012 and don't seem to have an issue: Win7 Pro 64bit here.

LT 2012 Win 64-bit here too.  I suspect it's a Win 7 issue because this didn't happen to me in XT.

A shot in the dark: do you both have file extensions visible or hidden in Windows Explorer?

ACAD doesn't highlight the New Folder here either, but Windows works as expected and highlights the New Folder name.

Win-64 pro, file extensions showing, all SP installed for AutoCAD and Windows.
