Moving parts

I have been working with Autocad for many moons and have recently started to do 3d modeling. I would like to know if there is anyway of making the parts move against each other. Example would be a gear. I have worked with Solidworks and that program is excellent for moving parts such as a gear. Does Autocad do something similar.

A better comparison would be Inventor.  AutoCAD has very limited parametric capabilities, which are better suited to 2D diagrams than 3D mechanical design.
