Make a object "invisible" to object snap

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if it's possible to make a object "invisible" to the object snap function.

I mean, even if the snap is on, I can not reach this object.

Thanks!

Only way is making that object on layer DEFPOINTS and turn off or freeze layer 0.

Thanks for all answers.

Patchy, your solution is the best way but like braudpat said, to do the good way will still be in a wish list for futures releases.

pendean, your solution does not work because I need to see the object in all time.

Cheers!
