Line stretching problem

So when i try to stretch and snap a line, it randomly goes to another point in the drawing. The point is always the same and I have noticed this doesnt happen if Object Snap is turned off. Any suggestions?

I have resetted the profiles and doing so fixed the problem, however i would like to know if there is a setting that could prevent this from happening again.

In the following videos you can see the user trying to stretch a line into a nerby intersection. Instead, the line stretches towards a far away point.
