Line Type Scaling

So I have a two part question, I have two drawings with different line type scales set (Drawing A lts = 1.0 ; Drawing B lts = 500.0) I would like to know the following:

1) Is it possible to change the lts of either one of the drawings and have the line type scales of all the lines already drawn update to correspond to the new lts, but visually remain as they were with the original lts? (without doing this manually, line by line)

2) is it possible to XREF the one drawing (e.g. drawing A) into the other drawing (e.g. Drawing B) while holding its original lts? (e.g. so that the line type scale appears correctly in Drawing B)

Ideally I know that both drawings should be of the same lts, but this is a unique situation.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

Thanks Calvin

1. No. but why do you want it that way? there may be other options.
2. same as above.

BTW< what are your settings for LTSCALE, PSLTSCALE and MSLTSCALE in all of these files?
