How can I bind a Land Autodesk drawing to my ACAD 2010 drawing?

I'm trying to bind a site survey produced in Land Autodesk to my drawing, however when I try I get this error message:

'Some objects in specified Xref(s) failed to bind' I've tried purging the survey prior to binding, but have had no success. Any suggestions?

You might have to explode all the AEC content first: -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command (there is a dash in the command name).
