Wow. I wanted to send another thank you your way. You just prevented me from spending tomorrow morning reinstalling autocad.
I have been uninstaling, cleaning, reinstalling.... an absolute nightmare.
I changed the file like you said and it is fixed.
You are a genious.
This crash happened to me recently and that one little registry edit fixed the problem.
Scary how random quirks like this can set you back.
I lost a day to this problem searching for fixes.
Hallelujah! You have saved me! Now, I have to get back to work.... Booo!
PS - I changed the registry that you suggested to dword:4be447d0 first which didn't fix it, but then changed to dword:00000000 and it works beautifully (I'm new to registry editing)
Also, I tried the .NET stuff all morning with no luck, so this proves that not all e0434f4dh errors are the same.
For future reference and search criteria, my error code was e0434f4dh exception at fd7daa7dh
Wow, came in the office to this error this morning and changing that registry change fixed it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
