Extracted data will not update

I have found several other threads on this and it never seems to be resolved satisfactorily. I have a pretty simple data extraction, one length paramater from a group of dynamic blocks. When I right click and select the Update Table Links I get an error dialog that says some files can not be found and when I expand the details the file it is looking for is itself! See the attached snapshot. This function used to work.

Autodesk,,, please stop with the cloud stuff and 360 stuff and make 2015 "The Year of the Fix!".

Have you installed Service/Update Packs ?

Have you the problem with NON Dynamic Blocks ?

Could you please attach some sample files and the exact steps to reproduce this issue? I would like to do some tests on my machine.

Select a table, right click and select the Update options. The red table will update and the blue will fail. I suspect that is due to the fact that the red data set has not been altered. Change the red data set iand the table update will fail.
