Hello everyone

Like the title says, is it possible to change rollover tooltips delay time. I often need them to be displayed the moment i hover over object.

Thanks in advance!

If you're referring to the "extended" tooltips, it's in OPTIONS under the Display tab.

The regular ones are instant on my machine and probably are related to the speed of your system or video card. You might try this though, ""Options" - "User Preferences" tab - uncheck the box under the "Hyperlink" heading on the right side. Apparently it's a "Display hyperlink cursor, tooltip, and shortcut menu" thing." (I found this on CAD-a-Blog)

Hope this helps (though I doubt it),

JD

P.S. "The smell of acrid smoke and horses breath"? Know the reference? If you say, "The Charge of the Light Brigade" you're right... but not the answer I'm looking for.

Extended? Hope we're talking about the same thing. Those that appear when you hover over an object are "rollover tooltips", and those that appear when you click on an object are "quick properties".

My system:
Pentium Dual core 2.6 GHz
3 GB RAM
GeForce 9500 GT
Should be enough. But rollover tooltips still display with delay (even with "hyperlink" unchecked).

P.S.
The bugle sounds the charge begins… :-))
