Re: Autocad 2011 crash on startup

I get a strange error on startup, AutoCad opens fine, but it immediately gets an error -

BooleanSystem.Diagnostics.Debugger.get_IsAttached()   in the file   AdWindows;component/Themes/Button.xaml

No idea what it means but AutoCad crashes when it asks me if I want to ignore the error. I tried a complete uninstall/reinstall but I got the same error.

I tried installed AUTOCAD 2011 recently. After my 30 day trial expired, I tried to do the registration. Since then, I was never able to launch it again. I was trying to get the request code to get an authorization code from Autodesk but was not able to do so. I tried clean uninstall several times but nothing seems to be working. Please help. I need to do a lot of work and this is my only option. I tried all the options given above in this thread except running 3D Config. Thanks, Meera

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!

First of all you need to uninstall every version of AutoCad you installed before, and delete every file that is associated with AutoCad, that means and those files that are located in Regedit, here is  a link how to do uninstall all that and delete all these files:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-...

And then after you uninstalled everything and deleted all files, you install your latest version and everything works.
