Hello all,

Hope you can help. We have AutoCAD 2010 installed in a few computer labs on campus. Each student has a login and password for these computers that is determined by our network. These computers also have driveshield, so anything the students do under their login goes away when they log off. The problem I'm having is that whenever a student logs in and starts AutoCAD, they get the "Please wait while Windows configures AutoCAD" message. Is there a way to stop this? Thank you.

If "driveshield" removes the registry entries for that user or if it removes
the user profile files I can't see any way around it. Those things must be
present for AutoCAD to work.

Hello,  this is an old thread but we are attempting to do a similar thing for our computer labs.   In the past we were able to use a profile that the software was installed on and point the default profile's version to that directory structure.   And make all new users use the default profile to logon.

But I am trying this on the Newest verions 2011 and was wondering if anyone has had any luck?
