Hi,

>> neither reinstalling the SW

A really clean uninstall like >>>described here<<<?

Go to your Windows start menu ==> Autodesk ==> AutoCAD 2012 ==> Reset settings to default

IMPORTANT: if you have done any customizations: save them before you reset the AutoCAD profile.

Thanks. No it doesn't work. I think I have to live with it, it is not so bad but annoying..

I have another problem: When running an add-on program (script) for frame-creation I get the message:

"No canvas exists. Please click New Canvas." and it doesn't run.. What is the reason??

Thanks Alfred! The Canvas problem was solved - I needed to completely un and re-install the lisp..

I have another problem!!!

When pressing "customize" on the top-right angle of the "quick properties" window I get the message

in the attached file. (MS Net Framework, Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your app...  Object reference not set to an instance of ab object)

I have MS net framework 4.5.1 and all updates are good.. Anybody knows What's wrong??

Thankds so much.

Hi,

>> I have MS net framework 4.5.1

Uninstall all Framework releases > 4.0

Then run a repair in Framework 4.0 and ty AutoCAD again.

If you get the same error, click onto "Details" in the error dialog, copy the details-content into a txt-file and upload that txt-file, so we get the details about that issue.

Thanks Alfred. Before doing so:

I have  the following installed on my computer:

Framework 1.1

Framework 4.5.1

I am afraid that uninstalling the 4.5.1 will harm other programs. As you see, I don't have the Framework 4.0.

I attched here the details (maybe not necessary to do all you've said??)

Hi,

What programs have you installed since AutoCAD started with problems?

You can also try to repair the 4.5/4.51 Framework.

The error message seems to come from quick-properties. Can you try to disable them, then start AutoCAD again and see if the problem raises again?

Hi

I disabled the quick properties window by clicking the icon down ("quick properties" (ctrl+shift+P)). Then I enabled it again - it did not help.

I have turned off the autocad.

I did repair the 4.5.1 in the "uninstall programs".

Then  I have started again AC - and the problem is still here...

- Ensure you installing/uninstalling and using the product have enough rights to do so (install and reinstall as local administrator): Unable to run AutoCAD® as a restricted user http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS1055299
- Reset AutoCAD Settings as follows: http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2012/07/the-easiest-way-to-reset-autocad.html
- Install the latest service pack: http://usa.autodesk.com/support/downloads/
- Update the graphics card driver: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?siteID=123112&id=18844534
- If the issue persist, please create a new local user account onto the computer and give it administrator permissions then log into the computer with newly created test account and see if AutoCAD launches properly under this user account as well.
- If AutoCAD also crashes under the test user account, you will need to do a complete uninstall and re-install following these instructions: http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS45252 (reinstall for XP/Vista users: http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS75218)
- Be aware of the following issue with the 2014 software only: http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS21825687
- More complete .NET fix may be necessary ahead of the uninstall/reinstall process: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/NET-Framework-Cleanup-Tool-for-Unhandled-Except... (you can safely uninstall all .NET instances on your PC, and after the AutoCAD reinstall, use Windows Update to put back all the other variants your other software may need).

Download 2010 through 2014 software:

Hello,

Well, repairing 4.5.1 doesn't help, and the problem remains...
