How can I turn this preview off?!?! I saw a note that turning SelectionPreview to 0 did it, but it doesn't.

I had a long search and couldn't find a way. I hope somebody figures out how. It's really getting quite annoying.

In the AutoCAD Options > Tab Selection >  Uncheck "when a command is active" (selection preview)

This was already unchecked on mine. Are you sure this is how to turn the preview off?

On my system when it's unchecked it works without the preview

Try this...

"For fillet (and chamfer) you can switch the sysvar SELECTIONPREVIEW to activate or deactivate the preview off the fillet-radius."
