Dear All,
I xref a file a file with "Irrigation Rev28" with relative path methode. When I change the revision I remap the file to new revision. But in the xref manager file name show the old one, and saved and found path locations it shows the actual one. Is there any way to change in xref name also.
Regards
Shammy.

Shammy,
attachment of xref is special case of block insert/reference and the block name basicly can reference any dwg file.
at first the block reference gets the name of it's dwg reference but if you remap it won't change automaticlly.
to fix it, you need to rename it or detach and attach it again.

yes, but you can 'capture' current layer properties with layer state manager (LAYERSTATE command)
