unable to load customization file:
c:\users\dant\appdata\roaming\autodesk\autocad mechanical\20152\r18.2\enu\support\acetmain.cuix
that customization group already exists.
I have two boxes here where something seems to create a acfusion.cuix, an aliasconcept.cuix and a acetmain.cuix. If I unload them and restart, I dont get the error but the have been created. Could a startup lisp be creating these? I havent done anything with lisp files. the target in the shortcut doesnt seem to be pointing to a lisp file.
We dont need these cuix files how can I stop them from being created on start up?

so far what I have found is that I have redundant partial customization files under my main cuix and enterprise. Problem is I can unload one from the main cuix and save it, but when it is opened the second time I get the error and it is back in the partial customization files. How do I get this to stick? what determines the list of partial customization files? the cuix file or the profile?
the picture I have is of my machine which works, others have more than one of the same cuix file.

acetmain.cuix is the express cui file. you could unload it and then reload.

"...I have found is that I have redundant partial customization files under my main cuix and enterprise."
With which CUI (main or enterprise) do you want the partials loaded?
On the machines that have "more than one of the same cuix file", change the profile (temporarily) so that only the other CUI is loaded. Unload the partials from that CUI and save it. (The CUI file "remembers" which CUIs are loaded with it as partials.) It's probably not a bad idea to shut-down and re-launch AutoCAD (but may not be necessary.) Then, change the profile back.
"what determines the list of partial customization files? the cuix file or the profile?"
The profile determines which CUI file(s) is/are loaded, and in what "position" (main/enterprise). As mentioned above, the CUI file itself stores information regarding which partial CUIs should load with it. (Fun stuff, huh?)
