    Hi Owen,

it was a time consuming process - I repathed our library of all USGS 24k DRGs from paths "UTM83-12 / UTM83-13" to include an underscore.  Ended up alternating between Reference Manager's ability to export out to a .CSV, importing to MS Excel, renaming & using CTRL-X/-V to rename in reference manager.  took a while to repath all 1900 -

I wish relative pathing worked better for different network drives....

Thanks much for the  pointer - I'll keep it for if I ever decide to do something so "stupid" again.

    Cheers!

    Todd

we all go through our "stupid" phases :smileyhappy:

prob wouldn't have helped you, but another helpful utility i use quite a bit is Karens Directory Printer.

    http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp

it dumps out directory/file data to a delimited file (for excel, or you can print directly to a printer).  good for auditing and all that jazz.

    cheers!

thx - the export function from Reference Manager worked to get a .CSV into excel...

just had to spend the better part of a day cutting & pasting after using find/replace in excel.

at least i can now claim "older & wiser" :smileywink:
