AutoCAD 2010/2011/2012 DWG Format

Hi, I am new to AutoCAD 11 but have been using 08 for quite a while.

My question is as follows;

When I draw 2 line perpendicular to each (one horizontal the other verticical), I can't seem to be able to move one to the perpendiculat point of the other by moving it by selecting the center grip.  My commands are as follows (after I draw the 2 lines);

1.) I select the horizontal line.

2.) I pick the center grip to move the line

3.) I move cursor near the horizontal line.

4.) When I scroll up or down to select the perpendicular point, it gives me more than one point.

Reminder I have the auto snap on set to per..  I have noticed that the perpendicular distance between the center point of the horizontal line and the vertical line is where the osnap starts to show more than one point that is perpendicular to the line.  If anyone has any idea of what setting to change to eliminate this, please let me know.

check the discussion group's archives - I recall this being heavily discussed around a year ago when 2011 was released.  I recall claims of "bug" but haven't really used after-the-fact grips to snap to perpindicular so I haven't been pestered enough to chase it further.  I'm sure you can find some fairly detailed threads on it either here or in the C3D 2011 forum.

1 or 3 is incorrect in your post, or I cannot replicate the problem, I don't get two points, only the running PERP function.

What does #4 mean?

Patchy, seems attachments are locked out today on this site.

It's abug for a long time and 2012 still mess up snap perpendicular.
