    paperspace dimensioning

I keep having problems with dimensions scaling properly in paper space. What is the correct procedure for setting up and maintaining a viewport and layout so the scale stays correct for model space dimensions? I'm new at this method of dimensioning.

Set DIMASSOC to 2.  Osnap to points in MS through the viewport.  You can't snap from one vp to another one.  Your dimstyle will be set so that on the Fit tab you will either pick Annotative, or Scale dims to layout, or Use overall scale of 1.

I think that is about it.

Thanks, must be the dimstyle, they have a setup program that sets the scale for dims and annotations here for Model Space. Probably whats causing the conflict.

Please try STARTUPCHECK.vlx which provides maintenance of the scale matching between paperspace and model space.
