I want to move some linework using the move command, selecting a base point on the linework and then entering an X,Y coordinate for the final point. Some setting in AutoCAD, however, is automatically inserting an "@" before my entered coordinates when I hit return, giving me different results than what I desire.
I know this setting can be turned off, since I've used this method many times before, but I can't locate the setting or variable.
Help, please!

the @ sign is probably coming in from having Dynamic Input turned on - check your status bar at the bottom (crosshairs with a box next to it, or "DYN" if you've turned off using icons).

Preface your coordinate input with #. That way you can leave DYN on. DYN assumes relative coordinates (the @ symbol), the Pound symbol forces absolute coordinates for that part of your command.

If you go to Dsettings on the Dynamic Input Tab there is Pointer Input - Settings and there you can change from Relative (@) to absolute (#).
