I am creating a dialog box that would pop up at the start of AutoCAD the will ask a user if they are sure they want to load Raster Design with their current session they will have the option to select yes I want to load or don't load. What function would I apply to a button of a dialog box to run "iunload" when the user selects don't load? Also, would adding the (load "lisp") to the acad.lsp file cause the dialog box to pop up at start up?

curious as to why you are doing this?

There is a situation where RD loads automatically just by launching Acad if you are using the Ribbon interface, and you'll know this when the RD splash screen comes up.

To avoid that, IRC do not close Acad while the Raster Tools ribbon menu is active.

Indeed, thats a little odd.  I have Raster Design installed here, and it doesn't load until one of its commands are called, or if the Raster Design shortcut is used.  Maybe check in the Raster Design forum: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Raster-Design/bd-p/134

We have a few users that just cloick the Raster Design shortcut because it also launches AutoCAD. So I want them to be warned again about raster design before they continue opening the session.

Remove the RD shortcut from their immediate access, force them to load that AutoCAD profile while in AutoCAD to use it if they need it.

If they click on it all the time now, having a pop-up is only going to give them another quicker button (OK) to continue regardless: solve the actual problem instead of just offering up an OK button to click and continue, they obviously don't care to pay attention in the first place (sorry if that honestly was brutal).

The reason I need to create this dialog box is because we have over 500 users that are not very computer savvy. I cannot remove the shortcut because users launch and install applications through an application window. Most users do not even know they launched raster design. I tried applying the timeout feature to raster design, but I read on here that timeout does not work on Raster.

Then why are they usig AutoCAD and Raster Design?

Nevermind I work in the enviorment, it's out of your hands, I understand. All I can suggect is get management to require they sit in at least a one hour long classs that explains the different.

Not to be rude, but I am not asking anyone about how management should get users to do certain things. I was able to figure it out. It seems like people usually come on here and tell you how you should be doing things because in reality they don't know the answer to your question. Usually if I don't know the answer to a users question I don't tell him that he should be doing it this way instead of the way he or she wants. While I do agree that catering to users who don't bother to learn what the shortcuts they click do is ridiculous, I was ordered to come up with a warning message about Raster design.

    ditto on the rude part,

but consider the amount of people suggesting how it should be done compared to the amount of people offering up a band-aid solution...

    Just saying.
