Autosave is turned on and set for 10 min. every 10 min the autocad freezes up.
the cross hairs freeze in the drawing area but i can move the mosue around in the command area.
I can save the drawing. and close auttocad. if i open autocad but it is in the same freeze pattern.
I must reboot the computer and start autocad to get aout of the freeze.

Has this always happened in 2012, or is this a recent event that started today/this week?
Are your files stored locally, or on a server? If Server, what are your network type/Server OS?
If you tested by locating your files on your PC, does the problem go away?
Are you an Admin, or local admin, in Windows on your PC?

files are on a server....i turned the autosave off for one day and did not freeze up at all.today i turned it on and changed autosave to 30 min and yes it locked up on the first autosave.
i will move file to local pc and test. I am Admin on pc and server.

... why not just get the program to work as it should and as advertised?
