I've scoured the internet looking for a free stencil font and cant seem to find one.
I need it to be a Sans-serif font, similar to arial type, but with the cutouts needed for stenciling. I also need numbers included. In fact, i dont even need letters, I just need numbers.
Everything I have found is either a serif style font, or doesn't include numbers.
Any help on where I can find this .shx file would be really helpful.
thanks.

.SHX made by Autodesk , they don't have stencil fonts.
You need to find .TTF

you could try exploding the characters you need with the expresstool TXTEXP, cleaning them up and making blocks out of them,
old skool, but works well for a limited set ot glyphs, If you need a E-size sheet of general notes doee that way...... it could be painful![]()

I really don't think you "scoured" very effectively. I found more free stencil fonts with a couple of google search clicks than I could shake a stick at. Grabbed a few I liked too.
Suggest you "scour" some more.
Dave.
