I like it! This is the sort of thing that I expected to find as an improvement. I normally run with Polar Tracking turned off so I didn't see the benefit until now. Thanx.

This is a better solution for you Jamal, type DSETTINGS, click the lower of both of the two radio buttons on the right of the Polar Tracking tab and supply an increment angle that works for you.

Thank you guys for the help. This is really a great tool.

Do you have any idea how to let the tip reads the angle “clockwise”. For example, in the screenshots below, I need the tips to read 30 but not 330. Is that possible?

Polar tracking, relative to last segment? No construction lines needed.

    Set ANGDIR to 1

    This should be the result

I’m again struggling with another issue!

I wanted to sketch up the polygon (existing) shown in the screenshot below, but couldn’t figure out the best way to approach it. This time:

    1. The given angle is the interior,
    2. The angle is given in deg/min/sec

How can I draw such given polygon efficiently?

    Many thanks

    Best

    Hi,

do first a sketch of the figure and then place the contraints for distance and angle.

What I have not tried now is if you can input the angle-value like you show the angular dimension with ° ' "

Brilliant Alfred. This is a quite satisfactory solution.

As you have already indiacted, what is missing is to represent the angle in deg/min/sec

    Many thanks

    Hi Alfred,

A colleague indicated that changing the drawing units will solve this issue.

Please, have a look on the screenshot below
