What is the correct path to the ACAD help file?

I am going through the paths in the Files tab of my AutoCAD profile. I am looking for incorrect or non-existent paths, in hopes of speeding up ACAD.

Under "Help and Miscellaneous File Names" there is a path for "Help Location".

    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\help\index.html

When I attempt to browse the path on my PC, it can't be found. When I attempt to cancel my editing of the path, AutoCAD pops this dialog:

"Path does not exist: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\help\index.html Are you sure you want to use this value?"

What is the correct path to the ACAD help file?

    Hi,

for me it's the correct path (except that I'm using the German version: "Deutsch") the default setting is:

    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - Deutsch\Help\index.html

and it finds the index.html in this folder.

Is the folder Hidden? you can't just simply "browse" to it.

Your HELP setup gets totally hosed if you invoked the "MIGRATE SETTINGS" option from an older autoCAD, or loaded an older AutoCADprofile, in 2012.

Hidden or not, if you enter a path in the address bar of a Windows window, you will be be taken to the destination (file or directory) specified.

As for the Migrate Settings question, I think I did use that tool, but why should my path match alfred.nedwasba's, yet he finds his help file there and I do not?

    Mysteries.

Time for a repair reinstall then: simple to do and quick/done by now.

It's supposed to tap a local copy if the internet is dead: hence the problem I suspect.
