    Upgrade Timeframe

Does anyone know how long I have to update my AutoCAD 2011 to 2013 and still receive Autodesk's upgrade discount which is usually 50% off list price?

Does anyone know of an Autodesk Authorized Reseller who may be offering an additional 20% off the already half off price for ugrading, and when this offer might end?

    Thanks,  John7267

John, did you buy direct and you do not have a reseller?

    Have you seen this?

    Hi,

    >> Does anyone know of an Autodesk Authorized Reseller who may be offering an additional 20% off

Let me say two statements about this wish

    • you didn't tell us where you live. So for me it looks like it is more important for you to get additional 20% discount than to get the product with the language you need.
    • as long as you get most discount the dealer will be the one with the (near to) 0 support (as he does not earn enough money to have a support team paid or to have time to get trainied himself). It's not the best decission if you have some troubles on the way with your installation, on the way to get most efficient handling of AutoCAD in your company, ...

Thanks for the response.  Yes, actually I have seen that ad. I called the number, and it is Autodesk.  They had no knowledge of the extra 20% off. They do offer the 50% off when upgrading and suggested talking to an authorized reseller.  I did purchase the existing version thru a reseller and have not gotten any straight answers from them to my two questions.

If you get yourself on subscription, the annual upgrade costs are lower than the 2 or 3 year cycle costs, and it comes with benefits such as The Cloud...

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :smileyhappy:
