I just wanted to say that for some reason after i registered my student version of Plant 3D i couldnt start a new project and i kind of need to use plant 3D asap. So a fix for this will be much appreciated. It is very annoying that i have spent a lot of time making equipment now i cant even put anything together. Fix this as soon as possible.

My PC is fast enough and the program was working fine before a registered. Is there a way to unregister and then get another trial version?

Hi,
>> i couldnt start a new project
If you can give us any info WHY you can't start a new project is the basic info before anyone can answer then (it could start with a dead mouse or keyboard not beeing able to start anything).
At least show us a message you get or a screenshot or a description of what's happening when you click on ....
BTW: there is a Plant3D-forum >>>here<<<
(let's see if an admin moves your post
)

As soon as i get home i will send a screenshot I am at work at the moment. I have been looking for admin boards everywhere so i just decided to post here. I have noticed on the Plant 3D forums that other people using the student package are having the same problem.

Hi,
can you copy the whole text from details in the dialog you showed into a textfile and upload that?
At least it's a error message from a part of program based on Windows-Framework. Maybe a Framework repair or new install might help (which version of Framework depends on the version of Plant3D you are driving)

If you have found a thread with the same problem you have, then either create a new thread in the Plant3D-forum or answer to the existing thread you found.
I guess that here in the AutoCAD-forum most people (me included) don't know how to "start a new project" in Plant3D.
Good luck, - alfred -

Hi,
a text-file with the content would have been more easy to read then a (unstructured) copy&paste. ![]()
Anyway, do you have a 32bit or 64bit os? Because it looks like 64bit but there is a lot of 32bit stuff inside ... or is Plant3D2013 a 32bit application? I don't think so but at least I don't know that.
A repair of Framework does not hurt, but may help (as it does with similar messages when layermanager does not start etc..)
Is there an option to copy an empty project and modify it's content afterwards? Would be a (bad) workaround, but if it is a help you can use it.
Sorry then, I'm out now (because of none-knowledge about P3D).
Good luck in the Plant3D-Forum, - alfred -
