I understand Autodesk is trying to phase out the screen menu. I have the screen menu turned on in 2012 and use it everyday. If I go to the CUI to edit the screen menu, it is no longer listed for editing under Legacy. Anyone know where the screen menu is located in the CUI in 2012 or is this Autodesk's way of delivering a subtle message?

Interesting question. I don't have 2012 - yet - but wonder if the screen menu is the same as in 2011. If it is, would it be possible to transfer it from 2011 to a flash drive, edit it and substitute it in 2012?
I know that you can't use the 2012 CUI transfer tab to bring in a 2011 screen menu section. The next thing I'd try would be to use the 2011 CUI transfer tab to create a partial CUIx containing just your custom screen menu, and see if CUILOADing that partial into 2012 brings in your version. If that fails, you may need to resort to hacking the 2012 CUIx, which is fraught.
Here's the workaround I'm using: Edit the Screen Menu using the AutoCAD 2011 CUI. Then simply load the newly edited menu file into AutoCAD 2012. Done. There seems to be no problem going back and forth.
I do not have a partial cuix file for the screen menu. That may be the best solution. Once I incorporate any AutoCAD 2012 features into my custom cuix file, those changes will not be understood by the AutoCAD 2011 editor. I was sijmply using the AutoCAD 2011 CUI command to edit my custom cuix file.
