'Save As' window not showing up - AutoCAD201

All of a sudden and out of the blue this window fails to apprear when trying to save a drawing to another location or to a different file name.
Anyone have any ideas on how this occured and how to resolve it? Have found reference to this in discussion groups but no solutions found.
AutoCAD 2011 still has this funciton so have had to go back to using the earlier version.
Help with this would be much appreciated.

Thank you for this - it did the trick. I do not know how this setting changed but I will now know for the future should it occur again. Regards John
